Core Business Virtual PA
Your Virtual PA will take some of the pressure from you allowing you to concentrate on the more important and business critical aspects of your role. Typically she can:
- Deal with all VIP clients for a major cruise company
- Handle all new memberships to a loyalty scheme
- Receive calls from retail stores and administrate the retail incentive schemes
- Book places on to training courses for an in-house training department
- Book all management medicals for numerous corporate clients
- Take the phones for meeting or holiday cover, it’s easy to divert calls
Our virtual PAs have also been known to sort concert tickets, arrange flowers and gifts, send cards, and be happy recipients of the odd in-tray to sort through, file, and courier back to the office. They can also proof-read, type, receive dictation, and respond to generic enquiries and written correspondence. Oh and you can also have posted mail directed to our office here, so the first you see of it is when it’s all done, dusted and dealt with and it arrives at your office in a box ready for sending to archives, or if you like, on a disc ready for filing.
Chilton Safety Solutions
HEALTH and SAFETY ( I already hear you saying “Urgh” or “Oh No”) However as you know this is a very important aspect of today’s working environment for both the employee but probably more for you as an employer. Lawsuits and prosecutions are being brought every day against employers who have failed to consider and provide the necessary safety precautions for their employees in connection with the workplace.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places a duty on an employer to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all his/her employees and also to safeguard others that may be affected by the work.
In order to meet the above requirements you must have a minimum of the following:-
- Safety policy which you must have by law if 5 or more people are employed. This will be a statement which is specific to you and your business. This statement is important as it is your basic plan and commitment to health and safety which all your employees must follow.
- Fire Risk/ DSEAR assessment. This would highlight any issues regarding fire precautions or lack of them as the case may be?
- First Aid Risk assessment. This will highlight your requirements to provide sufficient first aid facilities in order to comply with the law.
- General risk assessments. These are risk assessments to cover the day to day activities as encountered with the operation of your business .
- COSHH risk assessments. This section would identify all of the hazardous substances that are used on a daily basis (often taken for granted) and identify any special requirements for the use of and storage.
Even if you are below the 5 employee level then it is important to consider that you should still have suitable risk assessments in place and it is also becoming more frequent that prospective clients for which you may be sub-contracting to, will probably require written health and safety policies and risk assessments prior to commencing work operations.
